What have we been up to?

Well, time flies around the holidays and we certainly were victims of that! Our family enjoyed a lovely Thanksgiving with family and then we sped full force into the Christmas season. I don't ever remember a busier time in December than this year. We enjoyed two programs at the elementary and middle schools, and then spent Christmas week in Florida with Mike's family. Eighty degrees every day can spoil you quickly! When we returned, we had some down time and got some things done around the house. I worked on my Teacher of the Year packet and finished my essays. YAHOO! My birthday was January 4th, so on the 3rd, Mike threw me a surprise 40th birthday party! What fun we had.....except for the fact that I can't figure out who "Spike" was. He certainly made an impression when he visited us at the party. Hmmm, the world may never know...

After Oklahoma, Mike and Hannah decided to join the fun, so the three of us sang and danced in Hello Dolly.

This past June, Marie played the part of Ado Annie in Oklahoma with the great West Side Civic Theatre Family. Hollywood next?
